Whatever you do next Pentecost weekend , save some time to come and visit the Rencontre des Peintres, which has become a true institution, unmissable and unique in its kind. The principle is simple: the inhabitants of the village open up their doors , their libraries, barns, small and large rooms, so that selected artists can show their works to a wide public of either neophytes or collectors. A visit of the different parts of the village ( remember it is classed as one of the most beautiful in France) can be associated with meeting artists, thus favouring conversation, projects, purchases, astonishment, surprise and pleasure… In 2006, over the same three days, more than 12000 visitors discovered artists and local heritage. Shall we multiply this number by two this year ? Thanks to you ! See you on Saturday, Sunday or Monday !
